Leaf
Animating a falling leaf will will incorporate many elements of good animation:
1. timing
2. slow in & out
3. arcs
4. solid drawing
5. staging
6. secondary action when necessary (trembling tree limb, water ripples, etc.)
Your animation must be at least 8 seconds long (192 frames on 2's) and must have the following actions:
1. Falling (back & forth motion)
2. Wind (speed up action)
3. Spin or rotate
4. Fall to ground (rest for a 1/2 second)
5. Wind again (life off ground and our of frame)
6. Perspective change (getting larger and smaller as it moves closer and farther away from camera)
It is important to keep the leaf ON MODEL and for the action to be natural and believable!
